Asset Hub

Asset Hub

I designed and built an internal operations platform for my IT team to centralize key business and technology workflows into one unified system. The tool was created to reduce reliance on several separate SaaS platforms by combining ticketing, asset tracking, vendor management, licensing visibility, SOP documentation, expense tracking, tool evaluations, task tracking, and project management into a single internal workspace.

Problem

Before this project, important operational data was spread across multiple platforms, making it difficult to quickly access accurate information about company spend, software licensing, vendors, assets, tickets, and internal processes. This fragmented setup created extra administrative overhead, reduced visibility, and made it harder for leadership and the IT team to make informed decisions efficiently.

Approach

I led the project from concept to deployment, handling the design, development, database structure, automation, hosting, and ongoing maintenance. The application was built with Next.js and React, hosted on Vercel, and powered by Supabase as the database. I also used PowerShell automation to connect Microsoft tenant data to the platform, helping reduce manual updates and keeping key information more accessible within the system.

Outcome

The platform improved visibility across IT operations, simplified access to critical company data, and helped the team stay more organized by consolidating multiple workflows into one internal tool. By reducing the need for several separate software solutions, the project helped lower software costs, improve the user experience, and create a more scalable foundation for managing internal operations, vendors, assets, tickets, and projects.
